Random Nitters

you sorted me into WHERE?

So, I've been back on the internet after a week's hiatus up in Mackinaw (total fun by the way), so I've been just surfing around with no real task in mind. Randomness. I had this debate with some of my cousins on Harry Potter and over which Hogwarts House I would be in. Everyone was CONVINCED that I would be Ravenclaw. Nerdy, hearts books, learning, smart... sounds about right, huh? Well, I told them that I wasn't quite sure. That even though I did posess all those things, I still had a very ambitious, sly & cunning side to me, much like the Slytherins (who are not all evil, by the way, I really wish that JKR would try to explore the reactions of other Slytherins, and not just Malfoy & Co.), and that I was hard-working (ala. Hufflepuff), and that I thought I was pretty courageous when it came to my firm beliefs (Godric Gryffindor, please stand up). So, where to put me? Well, I thought perhaps that I could just be a Slythergryhuffleclaw or something. But alas, the sorting hat knows best. So, I guess that after much deliberation (or rather, just taking a silly quiz... which I really DID answer truthfully, since sometimes you can manipulate those to say what you want them to!), the verdict was that I was indeed a Slytherin. Much shocking ensued. Me? I'm not like Draco Malfoy or Voldemort, am I? But I digress... after all, I did just say that not all Slytherins are bad. Misunderstood? Definitely. In the shadow of Malfoy? Positively. Plus, aside from Crabbe & Goyle, who have dungbombs for brains, a lot of them are quite brilliant (okay, so genius borders on madness, but hey, isn't that often the case?). Hell, the Half-Blood Prince was. Not that I will say any more on that. Too many friends who haven't finished the book yet. Then again, my sorority, Sigma Kappa, does have a snake as one of its symbols and indeed, back in the day, we were known as the "Snakey K's." Vewwwy interesting... Anyways, I thought that was amusing and just quite possibly random enough to note.
